Online surveys now represent a large segment of the research on public attitudes and behaviors. In this workshop, participants will cover metrics for evaluating common data quality issues and strategies for maximizing data quality in a variety of online survey designs, including convenience samples, nonprobability samples with quotas and probability-based online panels. This online short course provides an introduction to logistic regression. Model specification, identification, estimation, hypothesis-testing, and interpretation of results are covered. Software to estimate these models is discussed, but not demonstrated. This is not a course on software, but rather a course on the concepts and uses of logistic regression. Registration required.
