Approximately once a month, Womxn in Healthcare Leadership hosts hourly “Coffee Chat” sessions that bring in guest speakers from around the country to discuss their experiences with pressing issues facing womxn in health care. For their final chat of the year, Mayra E. Alvarez – President of The Children’s Partnership and Gillings alumna – will be leading a discussion on intersectionality and how race, gender and identity interplay as a modern leader.
