Virtual Cook Along with Dr. Alice Ammerman

The Department of Nutrition invites you to join Professor Alice Ammerman, DrPH, ’90, MPH ’82, as she accepts the Nutrition Distinguished Alumni Award with a virtual cook along and research update on Thursday, Nov. 11.

She will be demonstrating a recipe from her Med-South diet: a dietary pattern designed and rigorously tested by Ammerman and her research team at UNC that combines the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet with the flavors and local ingredients found in the U.S. South.
