Abstract:
We describe a model of population management, the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP) for Moms, to support providers serving perinatal women in addressing perinatal mental health, by providing 1) trainings/toolkits on mental health + substance use screening, assessment, treatment, 2) access to psychiatric consultation and care coordination, and 3) resources. We cover development, implementation, and outcomes, and describe how the model is being implemented throughout the US.
