Meet the Authors: Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus

Join UNC for an upcoming discussion with the authors of the newly released book, Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus. The event is Thursday, February 13 at 3 p.m. in the Carolina Union Auditorium. Authors Jennifer S. Hirsch and Shamus Khan, both faculty at Columbia University, will share details of their landmark study of sexual assault on campus, explaining how physical spaces, alcohol, peer groups and cultural norms influence young people’s experiences and interpretations of both sex and sexual assault. Book sales and signing will follow the discussion. This event is free and open to the UNC-CH campus community. An RSVP is preferred but not required for this event.
