Innovating Global Public Health for Complex Emergencies Workshop

This workshop will showcase innovations for working in complex emergencies and aim to support health professionals in gaining the knowledge and skills needed in complex settings. This workshop follows a symposium the Gillings School hosted last October and seeks to expose and engage students, staff, faculty members, ER physicians/nurses, first responders and military personnel, among others, in the use of virtual reality, simulation training, data collection, analysis, mental health, community engagement, etc., in complex man-made or natural disasters and emergencies.
