Dr. Dilshad Jaff is the first Gillings Humanitarian Fellow. He will share his current experience, challenges and solutions to working in the field. Dr. Jaff completed his Master of Public Health at Gillings and continued at the school until July 2019 when leaving to return to the field as a humanitarian physician. He continues as an adjunct associate professor in maternal and child health. He has over 20 years of experience working on complex humanitarian crises in conflict zones in both the Middle East and Africa.
