The Insight Into Diversity Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award recognizes colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion. UNC Gillings was one of only two schools of public health to win this award in 2019, marking the first year any school of public health has received it. Read more about the award in our news story.
