HAVEN Virtual Training

This training qualifies for 2.5 hours of credit toward the Gillings School’s annual inclusive excellence training requirement for faculty and staff.

HAVEN (Helping Advocates for EndingViolence Now) is a collaboration between the Equal Opportunity and Compliance office, the Carolina Women’s Center and Student Wellness. 

It provides students, faculty, staff and postdoctoral students with tools to be an ally to someone who has experienced sexual assault, interpersonal violence and/or stalking. This training emphasizes the importance of listening, responding compassionately, and connecting survivors to resources on campus and in the community.
