Global Maternal and Child Health Discussion

Dr. Sindura Ganapathi will present a talk titled “Scientific frontiers in global maternal and child health: the Gates Foundation’s perspective” as part of the UNC Global Womens Health Ob/Gyn Grand Rounds.
Dr. Sindura Ganapathi is deputy director of Global Health for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as well as co-leader of the Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Discovery & Tools portfolio.
Dr. Ganapathi ’s work includes setting and executing a research agenda around maternal, newborn, and child health for the Foundation’s MNCH Discovery and Tools Team. His research background spans disciplines such as pharmacokinetics, ion channel physiology, inositol phosphate biology and immunology.
