Gillings School Reception at APHA San Diego
Join alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and current and prospective students for an evening of celebration, community and networking at the Gillings School’s Reception at the American Public Health Association (APHA) annual meeting in San Diego.
Kauline Cipriani, PhD, assistant dean for inclusive excellence and associate professor of public health leadership at the Gillings School, will give brief remarks about the School’s current focus on an inclusive climate, as well as achieving cultural competence, cultural humility and health equity within public health education.
The cocktail reception will overlook the bay in Aqua Salon CD of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel. This event is open to all, APHA attendees and non-attendees alike. Admission is free but spaces are limited, so register early!
