Designing Multi-Item Scales and Questionnaire Development

This two-day course (2/1 and 2/3) provides an intro to developing multi-item scale measures and survey instruments. After a brief theoretical intro to topics, participants will turn to applied issues such as what is the optimal scale development process and how to deviate from that process. Participants will also address practical issues around questionnaire design, focus on real-life examples to demonstrate the scale development process and briefly discuss different quantitative scale validation methods.
