Critical Conversation: The Public Health Case for Abortion Access

In this Critical Conversation with doctoral student Alice Cartwright, MPH, we’ll review the public health evidence on abortion in the U.S. and discuss topics that are likely to become increasingly relevant. In light of the changing landscape of abortion access, we’ll discuss what state level bans in the U.S. may mean for other areas of maternal, reproductive, and family health. We’ll also examine our own values as they relate to abortion and its place in public health, and review how to use inclusive and non-stigmatizing language.
