Black Chatham: Its People and Institutions

Dr. Charles Johnson, Associate Professor of History and Director of the Public History Program at North Carolina Central University, will be a guest speaker at the Chatham Community Library at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. Dr. Johnson has served as a lecturer at the 2018 and 2019 Chatham County Juneteenth observances, where his engaging and informative discussions were always favorites with the audiences. His topic for the day will be “Black Chatham: Its People and Institutions.”
