The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) annual Research Conference is a unique interdisciplinary forum that brings together researchers and clinicians for a program dedicated to increasing knowledge, stimulating research, and promoting prevention and treatment of cancer and cancer recurrence through nutrition, physical activity and weight management. Dr. Stephen Hursting, professor of nutrition at the UNC Gillings School, is co-chair of the program committee behind the event; several other researchers from Gillings will present their work.
