AcademyHealth Lecture

William Tierney, MD, inaugural chair of Population Health at the University of Texas at Austin’s Dell Medical School, will present a lecture titled, “Rethink everything: The Role of Medical Education in Building a Healthier Community.” This event will be sponsored by AcademyHealth. Tierney’s lecture will discuss community and stakeholder partnerships and the role of Health Information Technology in population health management as well as his experiences with developing a brand new medical education program at the Dell Medical School.
