Harry Guess Memorial Lecture
Since 2008, the UNC International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology chapter has sponsored the Harry Guess Memorial Lecture. This lecture series was conceived of by UNC students to honor Dr. Guess, a man who built the pharmacoepidemiology program here, to remember his outstanding dedication to teaching and mentoring.
Speaker: Sonia Hernández-Díaz, MD, DrPH, professor of epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology program director, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will present, “Drug safety in pregnancy: challenges and solutions in the modern era of pharmacoepidemiology.”
