Erik Karlsson winner of the Wrigley Science Institute Predoctoral Fellowship
Erik Karlsson has won the Wrigley Science Institute Predoctoral Fellowship. This is a $5000 award presented for Erik’s proposed project entitlted “Obesity, Influenza and Cell-mediated immune memory”. Along with our other student awardees, Erik will receive his award at ASN’s awards ceremony on Sunday, April 6, beginning at 5:30 pm in the SanDiego Marriott Hotel and Marina, Mariott Halls 5 and 6.
Also, Erik was chosen as one of the 12 winners in the 2007 ASN Proctor and Gamble graduate student award abstract competition. His oral competition will be held on Saturday, April 5 in Convention Center room 29B. And finally, Erik won the Young Investigator award from the Society of Experimental Biology and Medicine, which will also be presented to him at EB. |
