Westfield, MA, April 19, 2006. – At the firm’s recent Board of Director’s Meeting, David Pinsky (MSENV, ’83) was elected President and Chairman of the Board of Tighe & Bond, a civil/environmental engineering and consulting firm headquartered here. Pinsky assumed the role from retiring Chairman of the Board and President David G. Healey. Healey, a 36-year employee of the firm, has served as President and Chairman of the Board of the company for the past 7 years. “Dave Pinsky is the perfect choice to lead Tighe & Bond into the future,” says Healey of his replacement. “He has been a member of Tighe & Bond’s management team for several years, and he has been a key contributor to our success. Dave’s management skills, coupled with his energy and enthusiasm, are vital ingredients that will allow Tighe & Bond to continue to grow and prosper.” Joining the firm in 1988, Dave Pinsky has led many project teams with his expertise in water supply, distribution and treatment. His experience has proven invaluable to clients and his leadership has ensured the successful completion of countless projects. Well respected throughout the industry, he publishes regularly in national and regional journals and is frequently called upon to share his expertise with industry groups. Dave earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1981 and master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983. He resides in Southampton, Massachusetts with his wife Debi and three children.
