Maija Leff, MPH
Ms. Leff is the Project Director for the Carolina Collaborative for Research on Work and Health (CCRWH) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also serves as Program Manager and Adjunct Instructor for the UNC Gillings Graduate Certificate in Total Worker Health. In her role as Project Director of CCRWH, Maija has managed research projects like the National Survey of State and Territorial Health Departments’ Workplace Health and Safety Activities. Previously, she worked as a health and safety training specialist with UNITE HERE International Union and as a research consultant with Raleigh-based Advanced Wellness Systems. Ms. Leff earned a Master’s of Public Health degree from the Department of Health Behavior at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
