Weideman wins multiple awards for biostatistical scholarship

Doctoral candidate Ann Marie Weideman has received two prestigious scholarships in the field of statistics: the Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship, which is named after the founder of the UNC Gillings Department of Biostatistics and is conferred by the American Statistical Association, and the Ellis R. Ott Scholarship from the Statistics Division of the American Society for Quality.
