UNC receives $3.8 million grant to study innovative weight loss program for primary care patients

The UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention has received a five-year grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to run a randomized controlled trial testing the effectiveness of a behavioral weight loss program based on an adapted form of the Mediterranean diet.
