Biostatistics students, employees and faculty complete the Outer Banks half marathon

Several Biostatistics students, employees, and faculty completed the Outer Banks Half Marathon on Sunday, November 14. Team BIOS trained for twenty weeks in preparation for this 13.1 mile race. What started as a small group of three enthusiastic first-timers soon grew to over forty team members, including participants from the School of Public Health’s departments of epidemiology and nutrition. In addition, participants from the School of Law, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Medicine also joined the group. Many of the participants are already planning their next race in early 2011. |
