From student recruitment, mentoring, speaking to a class, or meeting one-on-one with students or alumni, we have a variety of ways to get you connected and involved with your alma mater, no matter where you are.

Get involved in your local area

- Speak to a class virtually or give a lecture or presentation to alumni or students.

- Connect or meet with students over coffee or in your workplace.

- Participate in student recruitment efforts by speaking to prospective students at recruitment fairs held in cities throughout the country.

- Support the mission of the Gillings School and its Alumni Association by serving on the advisory board.

Get involved on campus or in the Triangle area

- Lead a Public Health Coffee Chat discussion: Coffee chats are small, informal networking events. Envision a fireside chat type of alumni gathering taking place over coffee or drinks, with a discussion led by an alumna/us speaker and a career coach. We are looking for alumni to lead a discussion on public health topics like Leadership in Public Health, Women in Public Health, Technology in Public Health, or Global Health.

- Participate in student recruitment efforts by speaking to prospective students at Open House events at the Gillings School.
