Thibaut Davy-Mendez is Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Department of Epidemiology at UNC. He is a clinical epidemiologist conducting research to inform the care of people living with HIV. His research has spanned antiretroviral effectiveness, healthcare utilization, comorbidity burden and management, and treatment and outcomes of substance use. His ongoing work is focused on improving cardiovascular disease prevention in people with HIV, including through observational and interventional studies on lipid-lowering therapy and medication adherence
