Stacy Rosser is a Regional Child Care Health Consultant for the NC Child Care Health and Safety Resource Center. Rosser support the health, safety and wellness of children, families and staff in the early care and education setting. Her focus is to promote best practice standards for child care facilities by providing consultation, training and technical assistance to licensed child care programs.
Rosser has over 18 years of experience in early childhood systems serving in various roles including providing resources and supports to families and professionals of children and youth with special health care needs. She is knowledgeable about current child care rules and regulations and advocates for improving early access to care for children.
Rosser, a Hollister, NC native, has served as a Child Care Health Consultant since 2018.
Rosser is a trainer for early care and education providers in the areas of:
- Emergency Preparedness and Response in Child Care
- Administration of Medication in Child Care
- Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep and SIDS Risk Reduction in Child Care
- Health and Safety Training
As a regional child care health consultant, Rosser serves as the primary source for when child care facilities have any health and safety questions or concerns. She provides leadership in the assessment and development of child care health services in North Carolina, delivers consultation and technical assistance, provides training and educational materials, and conducts health and safety assessments.
