About
Shaneka Haynes is the MPH Student Services Director for the Masters of Public Health Asheville program at MAHEC and is also a Human Services Board Certified Practitioner. As an Asheville native, Shaneka has assisted with efforts to provide free and/or low-cost healthcare, mental health and dentistry services to residents of Buncombe County. Shaneka also educates others about social determinants of health and community resources when working in her role as a Community Health Worker.
