Marquita Brazier is a dynamic, dedicated servant leader passionate about education. She has been working in education for over a decade, including K-12 and higher education. Prior to joining the Gillings School, she worked in the admissions and enrollment departments a various for-profit, non-profit, public and private institutions including UNC Charlotte and the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Her experience includes working with diverse candidates, non-traditional students, undergraduate students and graduate students. She also spent time as a K-12 teacher. Education is her true passion and she feels that all students should have the option and ability to pursue higher education. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and attending concerts. She is a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Marquita is a native of Jacksonville, North Carolina and holds a degree in Mass Communication & Broadcasting from UNC Pembroke.
