Mallory Richardson, MSW
Mallory is so excited to be joining the Health Behavior department at Gillings as an Academic Program Support Specialist! She recently relocated to North Carolina from Portland, OR with her husband Aaron and their dog Bert. She is originally from Seattle, WA but spent most of her childhood in the midwest. She studied social work at Seattle University and continued on to obtain her MSW at George Fox University in Oregon with a mental health concentration. She has worked in social service organizations supporting individuals and families, as well as middle and high schools providing mental health counseling for students. Most recently, she worked for 2.5 years as a Student Resource Specialist at a community college, where she developed a passion for working with college students and helping them to succeed both personally and academically. Outside of work, she loves to cook, bake, eat, crochet, read, hike, do gymnastics, and travel the world!
