Judith Winkler, MEd
Judith Winkler specializes in strategic communication in health and education. Ms. Winkler is skilled in creating dialogue in any media or platform that helps organizations reach the ends that are most meaningful to them.
As a communicator, she focuses on combining stories, data and visuals to inform and engage with audiences.
She has worked for over 20 years in global health and communications, with short-term assignments in over 15 countries.
Serves as communications lead for the Department of Health Behavior
Manages the department’s communication strategy, working closely with the chair, faculty, students, alumni and community partners as required
Liaison with the SPH communications department on the school’s communications and media
Develops content (articles, photos, graphics, etc.) for the web and social media
Manages the department’s website and social media and tracks progress toward strategic goals
Writes and edits departmental communications such as annual reports, newsletters and emails, as needed
Coordinates, implements and advise the Department of Epidemiology on special communications projects, as needed
