About
Dr. French is a professor of nutrition at the UNC Nutrition Research Institute in Kannapolis, N.C. and the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also serves as adjunct associate professor at the Center for Pharmacogenetics and Individualized Therapy in the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC. Dr. French is an international leader in the investigation of gene x environment interactions (GEI) using pre-clinical genetically-diverse and genetically-engineered mouse models to discover genetic and epigenetic variants associated with inter-individual differences in metabolism and disease.
