Service Activities
Jerusha was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania from 2007-2010 and lived in Tanzania and South Africa from 2007-2020 before moving back to the US in early 2020.
Staff/Administrative Duties
- Assist with multiple epidemiologic studies focused on eye diseases in the US and Africa
- Oversee data collection teams to ensure high-quality data collection, prepare reports, manage budgets and assist with manuscript preparation and submission
-Provide support for grant submissions for future studies
- Provide oversight for graduate students and data managers, travel to Ethiopia and other countries in Africa to assist with study setup, monitoring and troubleshooting
