About

I am a trained social and behavioral researcher who seeks to apply socially innovative and community-engaged approaches to promote public health in global settings. My research activities include: using qualitative and quantitative approaches to assess health needs among gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM); developing and testing Internet-based interventions to improve HIV/sexual health care continuum; and organizing crowdsourcing contests (e.g., hackathon, open contest) to generate social innovation for pressing health challenges directly from the target user communities.
