Christopher L. Ringwalt, DrPH
Christoper Ringwalt is program area lead for prescription drug overdose with the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center. He has more than 25 years experience in the design, execution and reporting of research studies related to the prevention of substance abuse. His current studies examine the prevention of opioid abuse and diversion.
Dr. Ringwalt has served on multiple NIH review committees and has over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently working on the development and international dissemination of curricula related to evidence-based practices in the field of drug prevention, and serves as the editor of the Journal of Primary Prevention.
