Charletta Sims Evans is a student development professional with over 20 years in higher education, counseling and mental health. Sims Evans has a diverse background with experience in both state and private institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities and a women’s college. She possesses a proven ability to build strong and collaborative relationships, with special skill at engaging individuals in dynamic and interactive learning experiences. She has recognized expertise with professional development for staff, program planning, student leadership, diversity awareness and education, college access, and student engagement and retention.

Staff/Administrative Duties
Charletta Sims Evans leads the Office of Student Affairs in providing student outreach and recruitment, advising and counseling on academic and career choices, preventing and managing student disputes and grievances, and advising student organizations.
