About

Brooke Jones is a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health. Brooke is a current graduate research assistant for the Maternal Health Learning Innovation Center. Brooke’s primary areas of research include maternal mental health, maternal mortality, and gender-based violence.

In addition to joining the Department of Maternal and Child Health, Brooke works part-time with the Division of Public Health as a LCSW Abstractor for the NC Maternal Mortality Review Committee. Brooke received her MSW from North Carolina State University and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2014.
