Branson Moore, MA, is the associate director for strategic marketing at the Gillings School and is a member of the communications and marketing team.
The communications and marketing team promotes and advances the Gillings School’s mission and goals in research, practice and teaching. Branson manages Schoolwide marketing initiatives and oversees web, video and other digital media projects. He also maintains the style, grammar and voice of the Gillings School’s website.
Branson serves as a co-lead on the Inclusive Excellence Council’s Communications Subcommittee where he develops and improves approaches to communicating about inclusion, equity and anti-racism efforts at the School.
Prior to joining the Gillings School in 2012, Branson served as the production and marketing manager for a film distribution company, where he directed video production and oversaw the marketing strategy for corporate advertising.
Mr. Moore earned a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MA in Digital Communication and Media from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Media.
