Baiming Zou is an associate professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill with a joint appointment at the UNC School of Nursing. 

The B. Zou Lab’s primary research interests mainly involve in robust statistical modeling and algorithm development for big data with complex structures. His group's current research is focused on developing machine learning methods and computational algorithms with applications to large-scale electronic health record data analysis and integration of high-dimensional data.
