About

Abigail’s primary research interests include gender-based violence prevention and mental health promotion in refugee populations. Currently, her work focuses on the implementation of community mental health interventions in Malawi, and also on adolescent dating violence in sub-Saharan Africa. In the past, she has worked as a program manager for infectious diseases studies in Liberia and in program development and assessment for multiple sexual health education programs both domestically and internationally. She earned her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and her BA from Cornell University.
