Zhao, doctoral student in biostatistics, wins ICSA student paper award
Yingqi Zhao, biostatistics doctoral student at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, has received the Jiann-Ping Hsu Pharmaceutical and Regulartory Sciences Student Paper Award. Zhao presented her research and received the award at the 21st Applied Statistics Symposium of the International Chinese Statistical Association (ICSA) held in Boston, MA on June 26, 2012. This award is given once each year and is one of five ICSA student paper awards. The award was established in 2004 through the “Jiann-Ping Hsu Memorial Fund” endowed by Dr. Karl Peace. It is intended to encourage students who engage in innovative research in Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Sciences, where Dr. Hsu, a long term and dedicated ICSA member, had a distinguished career and high impact. |
