The Employee Forum website describes the group’s mission, which centers on constructively addressing the concerns of UNC employees by representing their viewpoints and developing proactive recommendations for any challenges that arise. In particular, delegates work to provide an effective two-way communication link between University administration and employees, and to foster an open and positive environment throughout the UNC community.

At the Gillings School, Andregg is the security and systems manager for Instructional and Information Systems. In that capacity, he directs the information systems team and acts as a digital security liaison.

“I believe the UNC system is vital to North Carolina and UNC staff are instrumental in delivering the best academics, research and service,” said Andregg. “Serving on the Employee Forum is my opportunity to support our invaluable, incredibly talented staff.”

Neal, who is serving her second term with the Forum, is the business services manager in the Office of Student Affairs at UNC Gillings. In addition to acting as the initial point of contact for her team, she assists with room reservations, oversees office operations and student workers, manages the weekly student e-newsletter and coordinates Schoolwide events.

“I became an active member of the campus community early in my career and am dedicated to the welfare, interests and diversity of staff,” Neal shared. “I take pride in helping build staff morale and I enjoy partnering with campus administration in order to improve staff engagement. I am dedicated to representing and supporting staff across campus and look forward my upcoming term on the Employee Forum.”

UNC Gillings thanks both delegates for promoting mutual understanding and recognition of employee contributions within the School and across campus.
