MacDonald Gibson honored with ‘Best Presentation’ award at conference

Jacqueline MacDonald Gibson, PhD, associate professor of environmental sciences and engineering at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, received a “Best Presentation” award at the conference of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP), held June 20-22 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Her presentation was titled “Racial Disparities in Access to Municipal Water Service: Water Quality, Health Impacts and Costs.”
The AEESP, founded in 1963, has more than 700 members in universities around the world. The association assists members in improving education and research programs, encourages graduate education, and serves the profession by providing scientific information to government agencies and the public.
