Raymond Tseng receives the 2009 Ralph E. McDonald Award
Ray Tseng, a joint 3rd year resident in pediatric dentistry and post-doctoral research fellow in Melinda Beck’s Lab, has been awarded the 2009 Ralph E. Mcdonald Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). Dr. Tseng’s abstract entitled “Childhood obesity and leptin: implications for children’s oral health” was selected as 1 of 8 |
research award finalists out of over 30 abstract submissions from pediatric dentistry programs nationwide. Dr. Tseng presented his research findings at the AAPD annual session in Honolulu, HI in May 2009. The Ralph E. Mcdonald Award is given to the research finalist judged to have accomplished the most outstanding research project based on an abstract, manuscript, and oral presentation.
