Comprehensive Exam Type(s):
Comprehensive written exam in August before year 2 of the MPH program
Capstone, Thesis or Dissertation:
MPH Capstone; MCRP Master's paper
Practicum, Internships & Fieldwork:
200-400-hour summer practicum between the 1st and 2nd year of the MPH program, and a year-long Capstone project with community-based partner organization during the 2nd year of the MPH program.

The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health strives to integrate global content and approaches across the School's courses, programs and degrees. We believe that every student should emerge from our School with an understanding of global health issues.
