Research activities

Molecular epidemiology, with an emphasis on environmental, occupational, and genetic factors, including cancer and non-cancer outcomes among persons exposed to oil spills, persistent organic pollutants and risk of cancer, pesticides and risk of breast cancer and biomarkers of effect, genetic polymorphisms in selected pathways as predictors of mutational “signatures” in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST).
