Staff/Administrative Duties
Jan Louis Smith, BSN, RN, MPH, CCRP, is a social research manager at the Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center where she supervises medical record processing and the abstraction of medical data; manages the Women's Health Initiative Heart Failure Study; provides consultation for certain research studies; assists in writing manuals of procedures, question by question instructions and standard operation procedures for clinical trials; assists with the development of forms, reports and testing for data management systems; supervises research assistants and students; and conducts clinical site monitoring visits.
