Research activities

Experience

      Serves as North Carolina’s State Controller, the state’s Chief Financial Officer

      • responsible for managing over 39 million transactions totaling over $116 billion annually
      • oversees North Carolina state government’s accounting, payroll, cash management risk management and internal controls

Responsible for the development of

  • the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Automated Data Services (CJLEADS) serving over 33,000 law enforcement and court personnel
  • the recently authorized state enterprise Fraud, Waste and Overpayments data integration application
