Christine Jackson is a senior research scientist in the Division of Public Health Research, Primary Prevention Research Program, at RTI International where she conducts research focused on parenting and child socialization processes as they apply to children’s risk of early onset of tobacco and alcohol use. She has been the Principal Investigator of survey research and intervention studies funded by NIDA, NICHD, NIAAA and NCI.
Dr. Jackson has accrued extensive expertise recruiting families for participation in intervention research, developing and evaluating home-based intervention programs, developing psychometrically sound measurement tools for evaluating intervention effects, and applying data collection protocols with families.
