About

Aaron McKethan, PhD, is the Co-Founder & Executive Vice President, Strategy & Business Development of RxAnte, Inc., a health care analytics firm based in the Washington, DC area in 2011.

Dr. McKethan’s areas of expertise include health care reform, value-based purchasing, and health IT. He was previously a senior official at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, research director in health policy at the Brookings Institution, and a management consultant at the Lewin Group.

Dr. McKethan is currently Assistant Adjunct Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Resident Scholar at the Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. His work has appeared in publications such as the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine, and Health Affairs.

Dr. McKethan earned both his Bachelor of Arts and PhD degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves on the board of directors for the North Carolina State Employees’ and Retirees’ Health Plan.
