Professor Robert G. Wetzel wins Hutchinson Science Laureate

The Aquatic Ecology Network, including several academies and societies, and the International Environmental Institute, by action of the International Committee awarded Professor Robert G. Wetzel the Hutchinson Science Laureate (2005) Diploma for outstanding contributions to the fundamentals of limnology and the international dissemination of knowledge. Dr. Wetzel was chosen for this award by collected opinion of many scientists from Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, New Zealand, Hungary, Russia and USA.
